The three wall insulation jobs SEAI grants, seen from above Three walls in section, outside on the left and the room on the right. Cavity wall: two leaves of block with the gap between them filled with insulation pumped in through drilled holes. Internal insulation, or dry lining: a solid wall with insulation board, a vapour control layer and plasterboard fixed to the inside face, so the room gets a little smaller. External insulation, or the wrap: a solid wall with insulation slabs fixed to the outside, covered with mesh and render, so nothing changes inside. Seen from above. Our drawing, not to scale. Who we are

An introduction service

Wall Insulation Grants is an introduction service run by Bartlomiej Standa, a sole trader trading as Elevate Ireland, Co. Dublin. When you send the form, your details go to one SEAI-registered insulation contractor who covers your area. They check the walls, price the job in writing, do the work and deal with you directly. We don't insulate walls ourselves.

How we check facts

Every figure links to where it came from and was read on 2 November 2026. Grant amounts: SEAI's wall insulation page, checked against Citizens Information and SEAI's median costs PDF (SEAI median costs). Where an older SEAI page shows different amounts (seai.ie), we say so. Technical rules: SEAI's Homeowner's Guide to Wall Insulation (SEAI wall insulation guide) and its Domestic Technical Standards and Specifications v4.0 (SEAI technical standard). Free upgrades: SEAI's Warmer Homes Scheme page. Wall types: our sums from SEAI's full public BER file, downloaded 29 October 2026 (SEAI BER register). Where a number is our sum, the page says so. We check the grant figures again whenever we rebuild the site.

We don't publish reviews, ratings or response times, and we don't show photos of jobs we didn't do. The wall drawing is ours.
